Global Sri Lankan Congress (GSLC) is a newly reorganised democratic and forward-thinking political movement comprising Sri Lankans residing both locally and abroad. Together, we strive to elevate Sri Lanka into one of the most robust and resilient nations globally, empowering our fellow citizens to excel as champions of global citizenship.

Our vision is to position Sri Lanka as a leading global hub for cultivating entrepreneurs and market innovators, poised to address the world’s most pressing challenges with the assistance of global visionaries, cutting-edge technologies, and borderless capital.
Our Mission
Our mission is to build a technology and knowledge-based economy exceeding $150 billion within 10 years, while sustaining a minimum annual GDP growth rate of 5%. Additionally, we aim to introduce billion-dollar companies into global markets, thereby positioning Sri Lanka as one of the most attractive entrepreneurial hubs, not only in the region but also globally, for new market seekers, market makers, entrepreneurs, digital nomads, and foreign direct investments.
Our Socioeconomic Approach
We firmly believe that Representative Democracy stands as the optimal governing system for fostering a civilized society. Likewise, we hold that socially responsible Capitalism provides the most promising avenue for nurturing a thriving and prosperous economy. As such, our socio-economic model is meticulously crafted as an integrated fusion of these two principles representative democracy and socially responsible capitalism.

Capitalism, in its various formsmodern, social, mixed, or state-owned has been the cornerstone of prosperity for many powerful nations across the globe. It facilitates wealth accumulation, knowledge creation, technological advancement, and the establishment of exemplary education and social security systems, all of which are quintessential attributes of a powerful nation.
